iDronePro recently completed an aerial photography and drone video project for Cairns Adventist College in Gordonvale, south of Cairns, capturing the College campus and its impressive Far North Queensland surroundings from a completely different perspective.
The project included professional drone photography, aerial video and editing, creating a versatile collection of high-quality visual content for the College website, social media, marketing, campus promotion and enrolment campaigns.
Capturing Cairns Adventist College from the Air
Cairns Adventist College is surrounded by the distinctive tropical landscape and mountain ranges of the Cairns region.
For this project, we wanted to capture more than individual buildings.
Taking the camera into the air allowed us to show the scale and layout of the campus, including its buildings, sports fields and facilities, while also incorporating the surrounding landscape into the imagery.
The wider aerial perspectives give viewers an immediate understanding of where the College sits and how the different areas of the campus connect.
They also reveal something that is difficult to communicate from ground level — the relationship between the College and the impressive Far North Queensland landscape around it.
